Golf Tournaments at the Tommy Fleetwood Academy

Golf tournaments play a central part of the TFA programme and are generally held at weekends in the school holidays. The tournaments are open to any golfer involved in the TFA Programme. They are played on the 9 hole Woodhey dunes course. Once golfers have graduated back to the 6 hole tournament category, they become eligible for our Tournament Players Category competitions, played on The Old course. Beginning on a course measuring 1500 yards for 9 hoes, where TFA golfers are able to gain an official golf handicap whilst working back to the adult tees. The tees start at 15 yards away from the green working back in approximately 15-20 yd increments. They are colour coded all the way back to the adult tees.

The tee colours match the 9 different levels of our programme
